2024-2025 Season Tryout Information

Calling All Wildcat Swimmers and Divers Grades 9-12! We want you for the 2024-2025 season. Scan the QR code to register and mark your calendar for tryouts.

 

Swim Tryouts:

Dates: Aug 5-6, 2024 (Varsity Tryouts)

Dates: Aug 7, 2024 (JV Tryouts)

Time: TBD

Location: Plano Aquatic Center (2301 Westside Dr., Plano, TX)

 

Dive Tryouts:

Dates: Aug 13-15, 2024

Time: Aug 13 at 8am

Time: Aug 14-15 at 7am

Location: Oak Point Rec Center (6000 Jupiter Rd, Plano, TX)

 

We are looking for coachable athletes who have a great work ethic and want to learn to be better swimmers and teammates. Prospective student-athletes will be tested and evaluated for their overall athletic ability and level of swimming skill. Coaches will apply ranking for the following skills (in this order):

 

1. ATTITUDE

2. SKILL/COMPETITION EVALUATION

3. ENDURANCE and COMMITMENT TO TECHNIQUE

 

Because this is a competitive UIL sport, it is highly recommended that you participate in YMCA, Recreation, or Club swimming over the summer to prepare for the high school season.
